Alright, well I just got 3 of the same monitor for free, but I have to say, Garry's Mod has a lot of issues with it. Games that are made for eyefinity, normally put all the HUD, the scoreboard and everything that you have to look at on the middle screen. One game I can name, is Battlefield 3. There are other games, but if a game doesn't support it, people will make mods to fit the HUD, chat health etc all on one monitor. Garry's Mod has complete lack of Eyefintiy support, and everything is stretched to all 3 screens. Why this is an issue? Because when you use 3 monitors, you don't ever look at the right or the left monitors. They are only there for peripheral vision. With Garry's Mod, the chat is almost 90 degrees from where you are looking so you miss almost everything that's going on in text, as well as your health. The scoreboard on some gamemodes are stretched across and unreadable due to the bezels as well as the Q menu, and a lot of the derma sizes like that. The main menus have a really weird glitch due to the massive resolution, and everything is an eyesore really. Eyefinity is growing in popularity, and it should be. It is an AMAZINGLY immersive experience, and it takes away when a game isn't made for it. I always get asked "why have 3 monitors, when you could have like a 42" screen?" I tell them, "You don't know what you are missing".. Anyways, I am wondering if Garry or some modder would make the game compatible with Eyefinity. I wouldn't mind paying for a modder to do this but it is pretty unbearable. Thanks! P.S., I didn't just buy the game just to test Eyefinity and complain. I've been playing the game for about 4 years, and racked up about 2,400 hours. So, I've been a pretty huge addict when it comes to Garry's Mod.
This is mostly a source issue, not Garry's Mod in particular.
Like GameDev said, this isn't something that can be directly solved in Garry's Mod without a complete change in engine. I'd take this up with Valve, only just confirm that this doesn't happen in source engine games first. I heard Valve were making a new engine for their next set of games (No need to tell you what game in particular), chances are this support may be in that engine. Chances are also that the new engine will not be used in GMOD until maybe say a GMOD 14 (now im getting into theories and that)
