i added Halo 3 model to my store it works fine no problems, however i added some starwars models, they show up for me and work fine, but for my friend its only showing the outline?
However when a player joins server it downloads all the models and items so i dont see why it wont work?

Ok this indicates to me you are using resource generator
Now here is a youtube video I made showing you how to install the new types of models onto your server

This Video shows you a lot more than just installing it on the server but just watch it all.
the main issue is you have forgot to add some files! .sw.vtx I think.. So you need to add that to your resource generator!

i have tryd this for my server but the model shows up as a error in the shop and when used. i watched your tutorial earlier today and it still does not work
