I've been working on this server for about a week now, finally beginning to finish up. How would i go about putting a custom loading screen on my server? I need to know where it goes, what type of file, blah blah. I would really appreciate it, :). No trolls/rude people please. I'm just trying to grasp some basics just like everyone else did at some point. (User was banned for this post ("wrong section" - postal))

make this a HTML
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css.css"> </head> <body> <iframe height="1" width="1" src="http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/2kGbLqDMYYI?autoplay=1" align="bottom" allowtransparency="1"> </iframe> </body> </html>
Change the youtube video or get rid of it Now make a bacground of jpeg or something and create a css.css text file
@charset "utf-8"; body{ color: #F0F0F0; background: url(picture.jpg) #000 no-repeat fixed; font-family: "Segoe UI", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }
In your folder you should have index.html css.css picture.jpeg <-- you can change the extension and the name but you have to change it in the css.css
<script> var tag = document.createElement('script'); tag.src = "http://www.youtube.com/player_api"; var firstScriptTag = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; firstScriptTag.parentNode.insertBefore(tag, firstScriptTag); var player; function onYouTubePlayerAPIReady() { player = new YT.Player('player', { playerVars: { 'autoplay': 1, 'controls': 1,'autohide': 1,'wmode':'opaque'}, height: '0', width: '0', videoId: 'INSERT YOUTUBE EMBED LINK', events: { 'onReady': onPlayerReady} }); } function onPlayerReady(event) { event.target.setVolume(40); } </script>
Use that for the loading screen music so you can set the volume level.
