Okay, so the other day I decided to get on Garry's mod, (As you might expect), however it didn't work, I load it up, and it get's to the initial screen that is all blue, and says loading in the bottom right, but never moves. I have run it in the past, back around January IIRC, and I never had any problems. Here are my specs:

I have a similar problem to yours, except I somehow get past the blue screen pretty quickly, like the loading bar just shoots to the end, and then I get stuck at the background screen where the main menu is suppose to show up. The game will just freeze and sit there and I have to ctrl alt delete out of it. Did your problem started happening after gmod went on steampipe? That's when my issue started happening.

That's what I'm thinking, however I never had any problems with any other Steam pipe games, (TF2, CS:S) However, I did forget to remove my addons before trying to launch it at first, maybe that screwed something up? I also have to Ctrl alt delete out of it as well. I can run it fine on a computer that I never ran it on, but it's also an Intel.
Try removing the addons, verifying the integrity of the game cache, and running the game with -dxlevel 80

I have already removed the addons, and unsubscribed from all my workshop content, I just didn't do it at first because I didn't know I had a problem. I just tried to verify the game cache, and it didn't find anything wrong, or help. And, I have run it a few times with the Launch option, and that didn't change anything either. Any other suggestions? EDIT: Also, it isn't getting far enough to generate a new >username</garrysmod folder, and I deleted the whole thing.

Yes, I have A folder, but not THAT folder, I have the one in common, but not the one in my username. I get to the mostly blank blue screen where it says loading in the bottom right, but it never shows the logo or loading bar.
