So I have formatted my hard drive because I want a fresh start, I've re-installed Garry's Mod, and all of my addons I am subscribed to automatically start re-downloading when I launch the game, I don't want this.
I've gone into my game properties on steam and I've disabled cloud synchronization, however this does not stop my addons from re-downloading.
Is there Anything I can do to stop this? I've been told to delete my addons folder in my GarrysMod/garrysmod directory but this did not work either.
You'll have to unsubscribe from them. Steam Cloud is not related to the workshop.
Go into Garry's Mod workshop and go to your subscribe addon list. Unsubscribe from the ones you don't want and BOOM! They won't download anymore.
