So basically, it those grass thingies that are supposed to rotate with your view are just white boxes, is this a problem with the map or something with my Garry's mod?
I had this before but don't remember how I fixed it. Try putting -dxlevel 95 in your startup parameters.

It's possible that the grass texture is from a game that you don't have mounted, any texture errors in the console?
Err I'll check, but I mean it should be from one of the hl2's right?
