I know this sounds like i am a total noob but i seriously need to test out my custom darkrp before i buy a server. When i open up Garry's mod my darkrp gamemode is not appearing in the gamemode menu. I added an info.txt and renamed it to darkrp.txt but still nothing, please help i will be very greatful.
Get the official [URL="https://github.com/FPtje/DarkRP"]DarkRP[/URL] and add your customizations to that gamemode instead.
Ultimately, add your customizations to [URL="https://github.com/FPtje/DarkRPModification"]DarkRP Modifications[/URL] instead and leave the core files as they are, for when an update comes forth.
That is exactly what i have. I have only modified the 3 folders; content, entities, gamemode.

Hmm ok i see i think this is like the new 2.5 version
Wouldn't recommend going with 2.5.0 if you can't even get the gamemode to run in the first place. 2.5.0 is released end October and is full of bugs/isnt running smoothly.

No, it's not full of bugs, there's no known bugs AFAIK. And it's already running better than the old one. Also the release date is 4. October.
