Hello guys, for some peculiar reason, GMod freezes the OS when a multiplayer server is loading or i am playing more than 10 minutes on Singleplayer. On Windows 8 it works fine. Previously i used LXLE 12.04.3 and a similar problem happened.
Specs are below.
OS: Windows XP SP3/Windows 8/Lubuntu 13.04
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3700+
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
RAM: 2 GB
HDD 1: 80 GB Western Digital
HSD 2: 500 GB Samsung
Same problem with me but good luck because I don't think Garry can be bothered just yet

Good idea. Better than playing on Windows 7.
