This only occurs when I'm playing big roleplaying servers, the game crashes randomly to the desktop with no errors showing up.
I tried lowering all my graphical settings as well as updating my video driver and my operating system.
I also tried verifying my cache, reinstalling the game, NVIDIA drivers with the uninstall tool and other important files needed for the roleplaying server, using different types of directx. I'm certain the cause of the crash is not because of the server since it doesn't happen to other people.

try verify integrity of game cache
If you have TF2, reinstall it.
Verify integrity of all source games too
