So I bought GMod a while ago and now that I got a new computer, I can finally play GMod. Only problem, when I try to join a server, it will download all the stuff needed and then right when it reaches 90% for Sending Client Info, it stops, I am sitting there waiting for like 10 minutes, and it doesn't join. Now sometimes, I can actually connect, but it's [B]rare[/B] for that to happen. Help me please!
It depends on the server, because iirc "sending client info" is where the client caches/downloads the servers clientside files. So depending on how many addons the server has, the longer it's gonna take the client to download all the files
To test if it's the server you're trying to join, create a local lan server and compare the sending client info join time with the server you are trying to join. If its the same time, then it's an issue on your end (re-install and unsub from addons, verify files etc).
