i have the servermap setup but it keeps going to sandbox. can someone help me make it darkrp please. i also need a couple of starter plugins so if you could give me the link of a couple addons that would be great. thanks
Make sure you actually have DarkRP in garrysmod/gamemodes.
Also, go into garrysmod/cfg and open up server.cfg in Notepad++. Check that you've got a line that says
[code]
gamemode "DarkRP"[/code]
But replace "DarkRP" with whatever the folder name you have inside garrysmod/gamemodes.
(Lastly, if you're on a dedicated server and running yours via bat file, make sure you've got the gamemode in there, too)
Yeah, if you want to it via .bat file you'd just do +gamemode DarkRP
