I have bought a 44 slot server on PlugPayPlay, but when it reaches the amount of 38 players it starts lagging a lot, how can i prevent this?
The choice is yours:
1) Put less slots
2) Optimize your code
3) Remove addons
And remember more STUFF [B]ALWAYS [/B]means more LAG.

I heard something that you can lower something that gives less lag but gives a little bit of a lower ping to players, is this possible, if yes, how?

Ya lowering your tickrate helps the server load a lot but in some cases your going to want higher tickrate for TTT and other gamemodes that require precision. All and all set your tickrate to 33 and optimize the shit out of your code and also keep your addons to a minimal.
