My name on steam is C-Hocolate and i was banned some time last year during a large ban wave. It was for by-passers I guess and they thought I was using one when I wasn't. I am really hoping to have someone who can help me on here or at least give me some advice on where to go and get unbanned. I don't know much about global bans but I do hope someone with some power can help get my account back. It has been idle for many many months. I would like to put it to good use again.

Thought I might add that i sent and email to [email]garry@garrysmod.com[/email]. I really doubt he will answer but I'm willing to try anything at this point.
You were banned on steam or on here? If you were banned on here, why would your steam account matter?
If you were banned from steam, you should take it up with steam support.
No I was globally banned in gmod. Meaning i cannot connect to any servers.
That means gac(Garry's anti-cheat ( got you. No you won't get unbanned. You could ask a owner to remove your steamid from a txt file. And are you sure you got banned on gac banned and not vac banned?
Yes, I can play TF2, CS:GO, and old CS online no problem, it's just Garry's Mod.
Was this because you were caught using Seth-hacks?

I didn't actually use any hack. I never have. This is why this is so irritating. I lost the ability to be able to play a game I bought for something I didn't do.

If so it shows no vac bans on record. I can't find a GAC Ban list, I sware one existed. Either way if you are indeed GAC banned you may not appeal it. So ya...
EDIT: use to be cheaters.cfg, now it's hard coded. Although I don't really see why it needed to be either way. Meh.
Give the exact disconnect message and I'll tell you if it's GAC.
That's an alt account of mine. The account i'm banned on is a different one. Also i'm aboslutley positive it's a GAC ban.
As far as I know, the detection is pretty rock solid. And won't accidentally think you're using a very specific bypasser -_-.
Unless you had Cheat Engine running or something. Either way I don't think Garry cares about any request to be unbanned from GAC bans.

Also I have no Trade, Community, or VAC bans on any of my steam accounts.
