Extracted 'FILENAME' from Workshop - followed by CTD

Seen this same issue posted around the internet but sadly have not yet heard of a fix :/ when I try to connect to servers, I download the files and upon extraction I crash with no error. I've tried re installing 3 times, checking the game files, subscribing/unsubscribing, and pretty much everything I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
