Ooooh, I'm about to go INSANE! I've tried and tried but yet I can get rid of this pesky error....

Couldn't change active gamemode - 'basewars' not found

I've tried everything I found on the internet. Nothing works. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix?

If it helps start.bat looks like this

Do you actually have basewars?
Make sure it follows the gmod 13 gamemode format.

He needs help setting a gamemode, not an entirely different one. Don't post if you aren't going to help.

And? He probably does too. Setting your gamemode on a server has nothing to do with it working of not.

Change the name to basewars.txt. You put the gamemode in garrysmod/gamemodes, right?

That gamemode is outdated. Last commit two years ago.

And yes, the gamemode is located in garrysmod/gamemodes

That is the only basewars I can find.

That means the gamemode changed successfully.

I joined and NOTHING is working. I can move and open doors, but FPP, and the F4 menus are not currently working. :P
