sorry to ask such questions please dont ban me. i have setup a remote computer elsewhere at my workplace and i have port forwarded all the ports 27000 - 27050 on both UTP and TCP and i tried both static and dynamic but my friends get not responded any additional steps i need? im also having trouble getting rust server up but thats another issue.
At your workplace? Good luck keeping that running. As for the Firewall. One: You shouldn't be forwarding 27000 - 27050. It's overkill and only weakens your security. You need port 27005 TCP/UDP and 27015 (+1 for each server you run) TCP/UDP. As for what the issue might be, have you opened these ports on the local PC's Windows Firewall or on Linux if you have a Firewall running - as well as on the router?
