Hey!
I'm new here and i want help for updating my server
Yesterday i was playing and it was everything ok, now it says that server is in older version :/
How can i update?
I already tried things but i dont know what i'm doing
PS: Please, don't say to google it because i already did and i can only find outdated things...
Use the SteamCMD to update it.

I already did a Bat file in steamcmd folder with this command
steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +app_update 4020 validate +quit
But after a couple of mins after it finished, it didnt worked :/
Should i put the folder path?
type those commands manually, or try reinstalling your server, SteamCMD is a bitch to get to work.
If you run off a server host, just see if they have an events log. If they do, see if they installed the latest update, if they did just restart your server.

I fixed it!
this is what i did exacly for those who have the same question.
I opened steamcmd
Then i did
login anonymous
force_install_dir c:\my_garrysmod_server\ (EX: c:\gmodsv)
app_update 4020 validate
(waited...)
then
exit
Done!
