so today gmod updated to 14-07-11. I have a server hosted on xenon servers and went to update it but its getting the old version (14-07-08) i dont know how to fix that, should i just wait? Its been about 2 hours since the update was released.

It is probably just showing an incorrect date there.

even when i do update it, it still tells me my server is running in an older version of the game

You can also try selecting another update from the drop down list, if that's possible.

That, or try contacting them again with the exact same issue. Does your control panel have a help center so you can quickly send out messages to Xenon staff?

yeah, ill send them another message, but im just going to copy over some files from the new update to my ftp. It could be awhile for them to get back to me

Xenon has notoriously bad customer support and bad history of overloading the boxes. I suggest you switch GSP to something more reliable like elpis or NFO
NFO is good.
