Hi. Every time i start a single player game on any map, a streak appears on my screen, objects/scenery are glitched and npc textures are glitched aswell.

verify your gmod and any source games you have

how would this fix the vertices being fucked up on the models? it would do this on every detail setting. its either an issue with a video card/driver or the files are corrupt
I think it is a problem with your video card. Make sure it is not overheating and that latest video drivers are installed. Also, post a screenshot of your video settings in game, the DirectX levels.
My graphics card began to do this in my old PC when it got old, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX MSI.

Because he can atleast try it, verifying your cache doesn't work every time.
