After I start GM it closes and this message pops up : "Engine error
steam Error: No SteamUser.
- Make sure that Steam is up tu date.
- Try restarting your PC.
- Try Garry's Mod -> Delet local Content."
My steam is up to date and i restarted my PC but i dont want to delet GM so is there another way?
And this bug came with the new steam update -.-

How are you starting up GMod?

But Gmod launches (takes for ever) and when it does it just loads and loads and loads. Oh what do you know it just did the same thing right now while i was typing this. Lol, anyways. I had a super annoying bug where i couldn't open steam for like 3 days and i had to do all this terminal sh$!, to make it work i had to delete steam including Gary's mod but i copied my GMOD file so i wouldn't have to download it and my 200 add-ons again. So i fixed steam and implemented my Gmod into the steam library folder and it worked! I could launch it without needing to re-download it. Then this happens.
I'm on a MacAIR (air is SUPER bad don't ever get it) and it runs smoothly. But yeah these annoyingly bugs happen. Please i need help fast cause i wanna go back and play with my pals and gals.

Meh not bothered. But inside the steam_appid.txt text it says 4000.And in the gmod folder it has everything there but it has another steam_appid.txt text which also says 4000.
okay, i redownloaded garry's mod COMPLETLEY and when i launch it it takes 5 minutes to actually open, hl2_osx is opened but not the gmod screen. When it does launch it just says loading with a blue screen and is frozen, and it says the same steam user crap. Please help :C
This happpened to me I fixed it by just closing steam and open it again. But if that doesn't work you could just delete the steam folder...............
