I tried to start gmod earlier today, stopped responding before I even got the facepunch logo.

Intel HD Graphics 4000
I've verified my game cache, tried -dxlevel 80 and -dxlevel 90 in startup properties, I've tried deleting local content then re installing it but nothing works

What do you mean updating my graphics card? Updating my drivers?
I tried deleting gmod from steamapps, still the same.
