• TTT Rounds don't start

I edited the radar.lua file, and then started the server. Now the rounds don't start. We're in this sort of limbo where we're spectating but spawn. Yet we don't get roles or anything like a crowbar, magneto stick, or even the holstered option. Suddenly it said "Round begins in 0:00" and stayed like that. I stopped the server for now but I don't know what I did! Changing the charge time for the radar doesn't crash the game right?
Just restore it to the default file.
The radar.lua file?
Whichever one you edited that screwed up your game.
Nothing. It's still the same. I feel like there's something not letting the round actually start.
I did add an addon from the workshop. It's called TTT Killer Notifier
Nothing
The only reason rounds won't start is because of addons that you added. Anything at all, even some custom lua files could possibly break the server. You have to think of EVERYTHING you did to the server right before it broke
Also, are there any errors in your console (Server-side).
What do you mean "server side"
What do you mean "server side"
Are there any errors on your Server's console. Lightblue messages that indicate if there's an error.
None
I'm currently taking out each addon one at a time and seeing if the problem stops. I've deleted most of the big ones but nothing's working. [editline]24th July 2014[/editline] I have taken every single addon except for ulx and the player models. It's still messed up. What do I do?
Reinstall the server. [editline]25th July 2014[/editline] But first check your console again for end2prep timer fail errors. My server and most other big TTT servers that run non-stop get this rare error after long periods of time that occurs randomly and prevent's the rounds from starting. Anyhow _Kilburn has been notified about this bug but changing the map allows the rounds to start as per normal, debug commands like force round restart do not work.
How do I reinstall a server?
force_install_dir c:\garrysmodserver2\ steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +app_update 4020 validate +quit Create a new directory for your Garry's mod server so you still have your old content and can transfer anything over to the fresh install. Run the above command on Steam cmd.
Alright i had a TTT server and i had your same problem. Its an easy fix, you want to go into you're server.cfg and you need to add.
ttt_minimum_players 2
