Hello. I recently swapped computer with my dad, and installed Gmod on this computer we swapped for. Now, I join a server and it takes quite a long time ( the other computer was faster) and when it finally loads, it gives me the "Connection Problem, auto disconnecting in 20 seconds", and then it tells me I lost connection to the server, or timed out. I have no idea what is going on. Could it be that this computer only has one gig of ram? If anyone could find out, i'd appreciate it, thanks.
Is there a firewall active on the computer that could be blocking Garry's Mod from accessing the internet? And the minimum requirement for the ram is 512 MB. It'll probably be really laggy.
Checked right now, Gmod is allowed on the firewall
