Hey, so Wiremod just got removed from the workshop for licensing problems (they suspect) so you can either github it ( [url]https://github.com/wiremod/wire[/url] ) or use this fairly straightforward method. I'm posting it here because I know it's going to affect a bunch of people and this'll just (hopefully) be the reference thread and we won't need 1000 people asking what to do.
[b]Note: This only works if you had it installed via workshop prior to its removal[/b]
So basically we're just using GMad.exe (included with Garry's Mod vanilla) to unpack the GMA file which should not have been deleted.
[b]So, in command prompt:[/b]
Set working directory to steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod (obviously edit the directory if yours differs)
[code]cd c:\steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod\[/code]
Extract it into its own folder until it's fixed
[code]"bin\gmad.exe" extract -file "garrysmod\addons\wiremod_160250458.gma" -out "garrysmod\addons\wiremod_temp"[/code]
Tada, it's done. That was easy.

That's a bad idea and everyone who does decide to use this is gonna be left either subscribed to a banned addon or an outdated addon.
Doesn't the SVN still work? Wouldn't that be better than using a possibly outdated version of WireMod if getting it back on Workshop doesn't happen or take a long time?
