I'm interested in hosting a [B]sandbox[/B] server in GMOD.
I have never had a VPS of any kind, thus why I am asking here for recommandations as I have no idea how many cores/RAM I need for what I want.
My budget is about 10-15 euro's per month, though the lower the better.
This is what I want out of it
[B]OS[/B]: Windows (2008 R2)
[B]Capable to hold[/B]: 24 players
[B]Location[/B]: Europe/US
Love to hear some good recommendations.

10-15 euro per month can be hard if you want Windows since you most likely have to pay more because of the license.

Ok, so I've just came across a pretty cheap windows VPS hosting website ([url]http://www.strato.nl/server/vps-windows/[/url]) (It's in dutch)
Would the "Windows VPS Level 2" be enough to host a 24 players sandbox?
Main info:
1 vCPU core
2GB RAM
100GB RAID HDD
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
Traffic Unlimited
and this for 18 euro's p/month
I'd recommend staying away from a VPS. The resources on the servers are shared amongst the other VPSs on the same server. Also, you'll want at least 2 cores, 1 for the OS, 1 for the server.
NFO VPSes are weak as shit, don't get them.

So what would you recommend for a 16-24 player sandbox server?
Let's ignore my before said budget.

Why do you need a vps for a sandbox in the first place? Just get a gameserver through NFO and it will be better and 100x easier to manage due to their fastdl system.
