I have just recently got back into gmod, but ive noticed one thing... my frames of horrible. last time i played was a few months ago and my frames would hardly ever dip below 50-60, but now i struggle to get even 20 frames while mostly around 10-15 even on construct.I have not done anything that should have done this to my computer. This is the only game that lags this bad. I have tried disabling all of my addons and unmount most games and still nothing helped. I have the latest video card driver and my laptop stays pretty cool while playing.
My specs are -
nvidia geforce 555m
intel i7 2670qm cpu 2.20 GHz
8 gigs of ram
windows 7 64 bit

Didn't mean to hit dumb.
Anyway, if you post what your graphics settings are all at, that'd help. Try disabling vsync, antialiasing if they are enabled. Make sure your Direct X is up to date as well as your video card.
