So for the past week my gmod addons haven't been working. its really annoying because when i download an addon it goes to my addon subscription list on steam but when i go to Garry's mod it it doesn't show the addons in Garry's mod if i go to the addons tab it says "nothing found" i really dont understand because when i go to the addons tab in Garry's mod and clock game modes or weapons or something ill click instal and nothing will happen it wont highlight or anything i just cant have any addons at all but when i had a bunch like a week or two ago so please somebody help me.
Contact Steam Support. If you manage to fix it, let us know with a fix.
This is pretty much a problem with Steam.
I Did but they told me to contact facepunch so i am so annoyed i just want somebody to help me!:tinfoil:
This isn't a bug with GMod, it's a bug with Steam, since it happens in games such as Left 4 Dead 2.
I think i know how to fix it. Since I also got this problem.
All you need to do is right click at Garry's mod on Steam > Local Files tab > Verify intergrity game cache... and wait for a moment.
( There's 2 corrupted file, this should fix it. )

it said something like "3 unvalidated files missing, will be required" then i did it again it it was a success but it still doesnt work i dont know whats going on
