if I try to click on +browse +counter-stike , then I use the search bar and type "door" it crashes! or I open half-life 2 and type: explosion that crashes too !wtf?
and the search bar is working realy glitcy, its not always searching for the first time, you haeve to click o na subfolder and then keep spaming the search icon like 5-6 times till he findes everything
I'm not sure what's causing it. I think it might be memory leaks? But I get similar crashes. Whenever a new modesl/materials are loaded and cached, sometimes Garrysmod will randomly crash. It does this as well when I'm playing multiplayer and other players spawn items.
I have to click between the search icon and the folder that I would like to search in, like 10 times to get all the results, maybe its becouse my hdd is old :) idono but still some search worlds are crashing my gmod
It doubt it's the words you search themselves. Whatever content is trying to be loaded from those results is what is crashing you. I guess a slow hdd might not be helping either, but I don't think anyone really knows why the crashes are happening although it seems to be related to awesomium
