Hello, I am trying to connect to my server, but every time I try to it'll get to Getting Addons, and it'll start going very slowly. Before, it went lightning fast. It'll continue doing so, and then it just times me out. Here's what I find in the console:
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "plate_green"!
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "generic_smoke"!
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "WheelDust"!
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "WheelSplash"!

Would the missing convars have anything to do with it? If so, please help. Thanks!
Can you post the section where it is "Getting Addons"? You have just posed errors about ConVars.

By getting addons, I meant WorkshopDL, when you are connecting and it says "Getting Addon #213856351"
This is all there is in the console when I time out.
You are downloading too slow or the server is kicking you too fast ( sv_timeout afaik )
Ah, I misread this as a server issue. Yes, sv_timeout defaults at 65 seconds, and if your computer does not respond within that time (e.g. it hangs whilst downloading), you are dropped.

It's never downloaded this slow before, it used to only take a few seconds for WorkshopDL to finish, but now it takes like seven minutes.

Try changing download region and make sure you are not torrenting or something ( and noone on your network is )

Is it just you having this issue on your server? Try subscribing to the individual addons and waiting on the main menu for them to download.

There's only two people on the network, and we don't torrent. How do I change download region?
In Steam settings.
It seems everyone is timing out now, not just me.

Unfortunately changing download region didn't work either.

Okay, after some testing I believe it has something to do with the WorkshopDL file. Here it is.

I'm not sure if this is too many addons, but if it is, it hasn't had an effect until now. The commented off addons are the ones I disabled to see if they were the cause of the problem.
I think I fixed it, I guess it either validating the server's files or removing an addon did it. Thanks for your help!
