Broken Gmod since the Teamfortress 2 latest update (Not loading problem) - Help

So after the latest update of Teamfortress 2, which caused people can't launch Gmod, I've kept getting these problems. I already re-download the game for 3 times and cleaned up the folder, but nothing changed. I am sure it's not a addon conflict because everything worked just fine before and I didn't add any new addons. 1. Can't open console, crash every time when i press ~ to open it. 2: FAS .2.0 weapon pack, two reticles when equip a sight, there is always a red dot in the center of the cursor, which shouldn't be happening. 3: Customizable Weaponary pack. The textures for the Eotech sight and Acog scope are misplaced for some reason, there is error message in the console, but i can't open console because it will crash the game. 4: The game itself will lose files randomly. Sometimes I go check the gamefiles, then steam will tell me that one file is missing, so I re-download it. But after a while, there is another game file missing. I never know which one is actually missing............. Big problem, please help! Thanks. Solved by changing to dx9. For some reason the game was set to dx8 and didn't have the option of switching back to dx9.

TF2 and Gmod are no longer connected at all, Gmod is on it's own version of the Source engine now. Your issue isn't related to TF2 :p

If you are getting more then one, make sure your antivirus is not deleting files from your Steam folders. Had someone else ask me about gmod crashing when opening console, they resolved it by uninstalling tf2, but not a very good fix if you play tf2..
