Can't Join any Server. "....a newer version of the game" - Help

[I]Before Reading: I'm from germany and did my best of my english so accept that and im completly new in this forum[/I] Hello, i bought Gmod month ago Gmod and it was working, than i was subscribe some mods(476 - [URL="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=609787557"]Link to collection[/URL]) but some weeks later i can't join any server, my game is the newest version from the steam store. I did allready Check game files for any corrupted files but there is nothing. [IMG]http://www2.pic-upload.de/img/30671467/20160516155445_1.jpg[/IMG] Now i'm trying to get here help, Reinstalling is not working too, i did that step 2times(because big mods, long download time) but still no change.... i need a solution for that, i want play again Gmod.

You need to update the server.

Your gmod isn't updated, make sure to recheck.

Either your game is outdated and you're not getting the update or one of your mods is causing this somehow. Try removing all mods.

Can you start a local server at all? Also have you tried verifying the integrity of your game cache?

Join another random server, looks like you're trying on a outdated one.

If that doesn't work, which it should, try launching Steam as Administrator on your PC and then validating GMod. I closed Steam -> Started Steam as Administrator I can simply Delete the steam.inf files without Messagebox or something.. Now i let it check the gamefiles...... [editline]18th May 2016[/editline] [B] ==== MY GAME WORK ====[/B] [B] ===== SOLOUTION ======[/B] ....steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\steam.inf (has the newer version in it) that file i copied to steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\steam.inf (have the old version in it, just replaced the file) and let steam check my game files. I can now again Play //Close or whatever

You should delete any other steam.inf files that are not in your second garrysmod/ folder ( steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\steam.inf should be the only copy )
