Garry's Mod Doesn't show Dupes downloaded from the Workshop - Help

Hello all! The title says it all. GMOD doesn't wanna show the dupes I downloaded. And how do I get these gma files so I can convert them back into a text file to use with AdvDupe? Thanks! PS: I know this has been asked many times, but I have something different - errors from the console! I believe that these errors are what people are getting when they download dupes and complain they can't find them!

Garry hasn't fixed dupe shit yet, we've been having this problem forever.

Saved duplications in Garry's Mod are meant to be "deployed" from "dupes" tab on left side of Q menu.

the problem, as i found by catching some of these before they got deleted, is that unlike with _every_ other type of addon, the workshop server doesn't send dupes as 'gma' files, it sends you the raw 'dupe' file, without a container. So basically, this isn't really something Garry should have to fix, as the error is on the workshop's end I submitted a support request to the workshop regarding this issue, but i'm still waiting on an answer.

have you got a response from the workshop about this yet, and is there a temporary workaround while we wait. i am not a man of patience.

It's not sending it with a container because Garry said there were some issues with it when it was in a .gma (iirc). And no, there is no "temporary workaround"

I think garry should make a search system for the ingame dupe browser
