• How to read a dump?

Hi! I'm having an issue, some player crash. Someone sent me his dump, i uploaded it to gdump but i dont know how to get what's making them crash. can somene help me? And "guide" me to read and find the problem in the dump? Tell him to do the usual: Reinstall game Verify integrity of game cache ... if none of that works, tell the person to change all of their options to high/the highest it can be set to (models, shadows...) As for the dump, not reading that. I don't understand a single thing inside of it.
I know Visual Studio can read dumps. Looked over the link. It looks like it was caused by a stack overflow. Try removing a few addons.
You can't read it. The crash is caused by decals, set r_modeldecals to 0 ( or something like that ) to stop crashing.
