I have tried and searched all over the internet for a solution but I cant find one for this problem.
I need to host a Garry's mod server I have my router port forded for Garry's mod and everything but I can not find it on the local or master list what have I done wrong? Please help soon!
Are other players able to join the game using the IP? EG:Run the command in console; connect <IPADDR>
Yes they can I just need help setting up the server on the master list!
By the way I use a Linksys E1200 router.
As long as sv_region is set to 255 and people are able to connect to your server via console then it will show up for (most) people. The server list is client-side so your friend might see it on the list but you might not.
Also just a side note: I wouldn't host a public server for just anyone to join off of your home computer.

So basically as long as one of your friends are able to connect to the server via ip then it shows up on the list, but not for everyone.
That is the problem I want everyone and my friends to see it. (Sorry I made it so hard to understand in the first place)

There's nothing you can do.
Well there is I just have to find a way :D (I think it is a global Garry's mod problem I am finding this same problem everywhere)
