Game will lag spike, then volume mixer will disappear.

So, I have had this problem as of recently, and out of everything I have done to tweak it, nothing seems to fix it.
This seems to happen on a few servers I have played on Multiplayer.
At any given point, my game will lag for a few seconds, then no sound will be present. I went on to check my volume mixer, and the Garry's Mod volume mixer has disappeared entirely, with the only way to get it back is by fully restarting Garry's Mod.
Just trying to work to save some headaches, and stop from me having to restart my Garry's Mod every time this happens.
