When I try to join this DarkRP server I get the error "Connection failed after 6 retries"

For the past month I have been trying to fix this but it has not been fixed yet, I even have waited it out. Now before this error I was able to play the server, I have even played on it for more than 1 week. Now I cant join and the error just says "Connection failed after 6 retries". For the first 2 weeks of this error I could type the server in the search bar and it would pop up, about last week it stopped popping up. Now people are suggesting that the server went down but their website/forums says it is up and I have even made a Thread on their.

I would like to have help ASP, because this is getting stupid and I want to know ow to fix it.

Check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking Garry's Mod

Sorry for the long response but I have been gone for a while. I have checked that anyother stuff. It is not on the server's side because I went to my grandmothers house and the server was working their.

So, what I had a similar problem. I used to open the usual ports for GMod to host some servers on my computer. After a while, it wouldn't show up any other servers on the servers list, nor I could connect to them even having the IP. I solved it by erasing the port-forwarding I've done on my router for GMod. Try it out, it might solve your problem.

Check your anti virus it may have a web shield, if it does disable it.
