I can't mount games to Garry's Mod

Hi, I bought Garry's Mod in the summer sale, I used to mount games perfectly, but now I can't mount any. Can somebody help?

you need to edit the mount.cfg file in garrysmod/cfg

I hate to break it to you but there's no third option when it comes to mou ting addons. It wasn't a yes or no question, it was an either or question.

If you wanted to mount CSS content, in the mount.cfg you put

 	"cstrike"	"C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike"

make sure the directory pointed to your CSS setup

That's for servers. Although it "works" for clients, you should be using the mount menu.

I mentioned that way because theres some games i.e Black Mesa Source that are not in the mount menu, if you wanted to use the BMS textures and models in a Gmod level

He's referring to CS:S, though.

Let me explain , I want the CS:S textures and maps in my singleplayer Gmod, and I own CS:S but I can't mount it from the mount menu.

using the mount.cfg shouuld work ok in thiis case

Basic questions here but nexesary to ask:

- Do you have CS:S purchased?
- Is it purchased on the same account as Garry's Mod?
- Is it installed?
- Is it installed on the same drive?

The more information you can provide, the easier it is to find a solution.
