This guy is a gmod hacker and im not sure what do with my server - Help

Alongside cake if you have the right settings on your server.cfg then I am pretty sure you are very secure, unless he has RCON access. However if you're using GMCHosting and never give out the RCON, since the RCON isn't in the ftp you should be fine. So if you're RCON is not in the ftp, or is off, and you have cake anti cheat. Then there's only one more thing you could & (should) do. sv_allowupload "0" sv_allowcslua "0" sv_cheats "0" - Make sure the above is your settings. - That you're using a host that doesn't have their RCON in the ftp, if not then turn RCON off. - Make sure cake anti cheat is up to date and you're confident with your settings in !cac_menu settings. Also, try to make a video or GIF of you clicking on his picture from the chat, showing that it directly goes to his profile and then paste it somewhere in the GIF/video and give us the GIF/video. That way it's clean %100 proof. Not saying anything will happen to him but a lot of server owners check things like this out and will ban people like him before hand.

Also make sure none of your addons have backdoors in them. If you acquired any addons via shady means they could be tainted with intentional backdoors. Workshop addons can contain backdoors but when found they get banned from the Workshop and the uploader punished.

Yea, maybe show us your workshop collection. Alongside that if you got all your paid addons by actually paying for them then your server should now be highly secure.

CAC isn't protection for stuff like this? Wtf. It's a client anticheat.

Not specifically saying it's for stuff like this, it's just generally better to help with all security related issues all at once so he never has to deal with things like this.

Ask host if there is any backdoors or small DDOs attacks and e.t.c (If it's even possible)in 2014 GMod has a massive LUA virus attack that caused players to cough around the servers,it was a very strong LUA virus,so... Maybe check the LUA files? Also better to check .cfg file of the server. Since every virus is disguised as something peaceful name,you better to check everything,I had one virus the rat that disguised itself as the google file,but it was a virus. I don't mean to derail the thread but the Odium crap is getting a little out of hand as of late, spamming servers, using steam bots to attack steam groups. Is anyone else noticing this or is it just me?

The same guy did it to my server about 3 - 4 months ago... However people were saying it was PAC That had the back door, and to be honest, all the servers he has hit, had PAC.
