Played fine for a long time. Recently (several weeks at least) I cannot play. I get "steam not logged in" error (it is, of course), and sometimes when exiting I get a "steamclient64" failed to validate. I have hundreds of games on steam, this is the only one giving me issues right now. For attempted solutions I've: validated rust. Reinstalled rust. Reinstalled Steam. Validated the windows 10 install with dsim. Run multiple AV scans from multiple vendors (Defender, AVG, Avira, Kapersky, TrendMicro). No problems found anywhere. Spent many hours searching the web for answers, but found nothing that seems to actually apply.
Ideas? Or should I just give up and slag Rust on steam reviews?
