Painting in Rust is one of my more favored pass times in a game but I seem to have one huge crippling issue. If I paint on an XL or an XXL and spend any reasonable amount of time on it. After I update my character will rubberband and none of my work will be visible to other players. I seem to be able to paint on all the other signs and smaller paintings but of course they are much lower res than XL or XXL. Is it a known bug or just something wrong on my end? I just want to be able to paint more! I've lost well over 4 hours of paintings in the last 2 days because I was hopeless and optimistic.
Never had this issue recently. There was a big bug that caused that for everyone but that got fixed. Try updating/saving your picture frequently. I dont know if the save icon actualy does anything but "Update" should work.
