I like to have hdr off, but it turns itself on half the time I join a new map.

What maps do you see this happen on?
Yea, I turn HDR off in the main menu, And when i go to construct it enables itself again :\
Its not because it impacts my FPS a lot, Its just because i think all the textures look too bright because of it for a sandbox game.

You could try turning Bloom off from the Post Processing tab (in that Q menu).
Actually, turning bloom on and putting add darkness to full seems to work.

All maps i think, but it seems to happen most on gm_construct.

Bloom is already turned off.
