Oh dear... Well, let's be fair here. At least his extremely horrid and twisted punishments are creative. But who the hell would let anything like this take place on their server? It's just plain sick.

I've actually seen worse I believe, in my old rp server some guy was fucking another guy with a splinter stool leg and i'm not even bringing the potato up.

I actually didn't mind roleplay back in the day when you had some normal people around who were willing to recreate the Half-Life 2 universe on a city-scale, but these days it's completely horrible. You get the 13 year old kid who is a 'Russian accent, 7ft5", ultra muscle, ex-Spetsnaz' idiot who walks around beating citizens down. I don't get it. Why. [B]WHY?![/B]

I think I have had the greatest idea to come to Gmod RP ever- Prison RP. Since everybody is always running about like schizophrenics trying to beat each other up, screaming and hollering, stealing and raping and being beaten up by the authority, why not make the setting somewhere fitting- a high-security prison, where the majority of the players are the inmates. No longer would "jail" be a few cells in a room that naughty people get teleported to, but the whole map instead would be a huge fully-functioning prison with enough 2-man cells to hold most of a large server. Rather than police running down streets randomly arresting people because they are bored, there would be guards up on the catwalks or up in towers over the exercise yard. Blah blah [I]mess hall[/I] blah, blah blah [I]solitary confinement[/I], blah [I]escape attempts and shooting them[/I] blah, [I]secretly crafting makeshift weapons[/I], [I]character stat gain[/I] from exercise and blah... I have too many ideas about how this would work to go through it all. I do think it would work best if it had regimented daily activities of real prisons, as it'd be just the same old shit if you could still freely roam about like in all gmod rp currently. A daily experience gain according to your score that day for both inmates and guards could probably do well to passively influence guards to do their job correctly and not acting their age and just filling everybody with bullets without outside admin deterrence. Building up your prison thug's muscles and shivving skill would be pretty fancy too. It'd be like [I]Oz[/I]: the game. People who claim roleplay is dead forget that people have been saying the same thing about everything since the beginning. >90% of roleplay servers are terrible. <10% are alright or good. This is true for most gamemodes. Why? Because >90% of the Gmod community is terrible.

And then 1.5% that were okay. And then 0.4% that were actually somewhat good. And then 0.1% that were actually pretty damn good. And is every other tread really still just talking about how terrible Gmod roleplaying is?
