Recently, I don't know why but I can't see the chat on my game, when I press y to open it up, there is no words, and it just looks like an empty template.
This:

But I can see it in console like this:

I have tried reinstalling but nothing will fix it. It used to be fine before the update.
Delete garrysmod/garrysmod/ folder
what folder inside garrysmod/garrysmod/?
If you mean the whole folder, i already wiped gmod clean and it still didnt fix it.
What are your specs? Try running gmod with -dxlevel 81 or -dxlevel 70
I am running with dxlevel 81 right now
