When I monted half life deathmatch sourcew levels with gmod, I play one and guess what? There are NO textures anywhere! the whole level is just purple and black checkers everywhere! I can rarely tell where everything is! How do I fix this problem?

yea i mounted hl DM source with gmod.
You need to mount Half-Life Source as well as Half-Life Deathmatch Source. All the models, sounds and materials are in Half-Life Source's .gcf files, Half-Life Deathmatch Source's .gcf files contains maps (and a few other materials and models).
