My Gmod Screwed i need help

Hi i have been having a problem with my g mod when i join a server a lot of things mostly textures of the world buildings signs are the pink and black checker board aswell as the sky keeps doubling up i really need help
Pc specs:
windows vista home premium
Intel(R) Core(Tm)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
4.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 gs

Now 1 day after i can not even get on a server

First things first, which map were you playing? Because some require textures and skymaps from games you may not have.
