So? Buying gamemodes is for tools. Unauthorized servers have just as much right to run in terms of Garrysmod. Developers like Hunts and Conna are fucking cancer to RP.

GMod Tower was approached by Valve last year. Selling in-game benefits is against the ToS. That's why they never did it.
I'm not exactly against the whole "un-authorised" thing, but it's not exactly something that gives me a good opinion of you.
My server has the VIP option and In-Game cash option so what... I"m most likely going to make VIP monthly and yearly. and remove the in-game cash option though now that you mention that its against valves TOS.

Sierra city sucks though. The only perp2 community I like playing on is PD, Though I hate Lombax or Karnyth for unknown reasons. Just, idk.

I have been experimenting the option of using other maps, unless you have a completely custom map using the correct textures it simply isn't as easy as it seams.
At the moment I am trying to swap mine over to EvoCity and then when its finished our custom map we are having created.
Sierra will have to do for the time being.
Is it because their furries, like I and most of my community along with mobius is?

Cant you just take out the weather system, Its a annoyance too and makes evocity look shitty..

There's multiple ways around it. Plus, Valve won't care in general unless you're gonna make a hell of a lot of money.
Basically, here's what happened:
GMod Tower offered access to a forum group, due to what Valve said.
Everyone else wasn't contacted by Valve.

A few gamemode hosts have made a hell of a lot of money out of it, like sassilization making over 30k, but it's under valves radar, most people don't know those numbers. Making money off of valves engine and products violates the copyright and whoever does it is feasible to have legal actions taken, the thing is most of these gamemodes making money off donations call it a gift exchange and keep it well under valves radar. However it is still illegal and if valve really gives a fuck they can sue the fuck outta you, and win. (highly unlikely that they'll give a fuck or ever find out.)

Most people just say it's donations and you're exchanging gifts and not buying anything, which is the way to get around it.

It's still infringing valve copyrights, but again, it's so far under their radar.
