After downloading a mod, it changed my blood effects, and I was wondering if it was possible to get them back if I didn't put it in the Addons section. I don't really care about much besides the decals and I'm probably simply going to reset it with a backup of my screen folder, addon folder, and maps folder. However, I was wondering if it was legal for someone to give me a zip of their decals folder so I can replace it.
Just go into steam/steamapps/username/garrysmod/garrysmod/materials/decals and delete any files with "blood" in the filename.
When that is done, the game will pull the default blood from the GCF files and its fine.
