• New Source Engine causing problems with GMod

When the update occured, I decided to play some GMod. It took ages to load (well, I have nearly 20GB worth of addons) so I had a break. When I came back, it had gone back to my desktop. Wasn't a problem though - I just clicked back onto GMod. I went on singleplayer and decided to propkill loads of NPCs. One thing I noticed was that after a bit, the prop would glitch up and I couldn't physgun it. Also, the physgun beam was not appearing. When I decided to switch to guns, after shooting 2 NPCs, GMod crashed unexpectedly. No errors, no "hl2.exe has stopped working", it just crashed. None of this was happening before the new Source Engine update. (User was banned for this post ("wrong section" - postal))
20GB worth of addons
Did it ever occur that your ridiculous amount of addons is what is causing your crashing / slowness. Clean GMod then try.

I have 8GB of DDR3 1600 RAM, an AMD Phenom II x6 2.8GHz processor as well as a 1GB GDDR5 Radeon HD6870 graphics card. It happens whenever I kill two or more NPCs in rapid succession. This did not happen before the update.
ene1 ?!!?! For the idiots who speak troll language: Anyone?
