I'm in a boarding school and I need to know the age of games before I can download so please help me wats the age of it how old i need to be for it im right now 13
It's a mature game last time I checked.
on other site it say its all age and on the cd covers the is no pegi for it or somthing like that

Mind, that doesn't stop younger people from getting it- hell, I know a Gmod player who is about 8 or 9 years old.
Garry's mod is full of sex, hence 18+.
I see more 8-9 year olds from france in online shooting games than any other nation.
French parents are ruining my online experience.

Why do you need to know the age range of the game? Does the school you are at regulate what you download? If not, just download it. Nobody actually cares about the age rating.

You bought a pirated copy of GMod.
It's not M. It has no rating. But if you want to base off dependencies, it's T (Portal).
12+ if you are mature and dont use a mic
16+ if you want to use a mic
Garrys Mod is a mod of Half-Life 2, which is rated Mature/15+
I think 16-18+ because of the addons it has.

Your not supposed to even own STEAM until your 18, so your school has got some messed up policies.
Yes, it is a mod of Half-Life 2, A MOD. Garrysmod is a completely different game, and because of it being mainly supported by fan creations, there can't really be a rating. Because Sandbox, is almost completely different from DARKRP, and unless ESRB wants to rate every gamemode, addon, texture, ect, it can't have a rating.

Call Of Duty MW2 is rated 18+ and they don't rate every gamemode and piece of content they have.
Yes, but there is no user created gamemodes, or atleast none that I can think of. And besides ESRB doesn't rate online interactions and such, only the campaign was rated to my knowledge
