Like the title says, Gmod goes kaput when I press the render button in the SDoF dialogue thingy. When I press it the screen goes something like this:

I can alt tab out of this or open up the task manager, so it's just Gmod that's crashing not the whole computer. When I alt+tab or fire up the task manager, that's when I get the "hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.
Here are my specs:
i7 920 @ 3.3GHz
6GB of RAM
two Radeon 4890s in Crossfire
My video drivers are up to date, so I'm not sure what's causing this.
There have been 5+ other threads about this happening. SuperDoF is probably broken :smith:
Why do you need SDoF? It's buggy. It even says that.
